iRacing will host the IndyCar Series challenge, to compensate for the absence of racing due to the coronavirus pandemic. See you on March 28 for the first round.

IndyCar launches its challenge on iRacing

iRacing will be the simulation chosen by the IndyCar Series for the iRacing Challenge launched by the American championship of car, starting March 28.

Following the model of other series, in the absence of real races against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, IndyCar has announced the launch of a six-race championship starting next weekend and lasting until May 2.

Each meeting will include races of 90′ to two hours, organized on Saturday from 22 p.m. The first circuit will be chosen by the fans, before Barber (April 4), a circuit chosen by the drivers (April 11), a circuit chosen by lottery (April 18), the COTA (April 25) and an off-track. -IndyCar championship (May 2), complete the picture.

The rounds will be broadcast on the IndyCar Series Youtube and Facebook pages, or on iRacing Twitch. The entrants for this series will be known in the coming days.
