McLaren towards full-time commitment?

After the commitment of Fernando Alonso at the 101st edition of the Indy 500 last year in association with Andretti Autosport, McLaren could enroll full-time in IndyCar.

Zak Brown, the executive director of McLaren, confirmed on Racer that he was going to travel to the meeting in Detroit (Michigan) with Gil de Ferran, the former double Champ Car champion who had just been recruited by the Woking manufacturer.

McLaren, several representatives of which have already attended the Indianapolis GP last month, intends to meet several teams to consider a possible partnership with the aim of obtaining a full-time commitment to IndyCar from 2019. Would Fernando Alonso have new ambitions?
