The entry list for end-of-season testing

The 2020 season has ended for less than twenty-four hours but the teams of Formula 2 are already hard at work preparing for the next one. It must be said that from Tuesday to Thursday the official end-of-season tests will be held in Bahrain. The idea for the teams? Test their recruits or their potential future pilots to see them evolve in a work dynamic.

Unsurprisingly, Prema will roll Robert Shwartzman and Oscar piastri, two drivers already made official for 2021. Also announced this Monday for next season, Felipe Drugovich will test with his new team UNI-Virtuosi, alongside Guanyu-Zhou, who should complete a third season with the team. Note that Frenchman Clément Novalak will ride one day with UNI-Virtuosi, and two with Trident.

As for the French teams, ART Grand Prix will run the pair Christian Lundgaard-Theo Pourchaire, on whom it should rely next season, while DAMS will call Roy Nissany and Marcus Armstrong, its two probable drivers for next season.

As announced on AUTOHebdo.fr two months ago, Liam Lawson and Jüri Vips will perform well in the 2021 season with Hitech Grand Prix. They will also ride in Bahrain. At Carlin, Dan Ticktum and Jehan Daruvala will take part in testing before officially becoming teammates in 2021.

Note the presence of the unfortunate title contender this year, the Briton Callum Ilott, who will ride on the first day with his former team Charouz Racing System, even if he is not expected to return to Formula 2. Roberto Mehri and Matteo Nannini will test their sides for HWA Racelab.
