La F1 Academy announced this Thursday, February 23, the very first schedule in its history. The new championship car The all-female event will include 21 races spread over seven weekends.

The seven meetings of the F1 Academy 2023 

April 28-29: Spielberg (Austria)

May 5-7: Valencia (Spain)

May 19-21: Barcelona (Spain)

June 23-25: Zandvoort (Netherlands)

July 7-9: Monza (Italy)

July 29-30: Le Castellet (France)

October 20-22: Austin (United States)

The 15 cars entered will take to the track for the first time on April 11 and 12 for pre-season tests organized on the Barcelona circuit (Spain). 13 additional days of testing will be organized during the year.

Regarding the format: each race weekend will consist of a 40-minute Free Practice session, followed by two qualifying sessions of 15 minutes each. As already announced, each event will consist of three races. Races 1 and 3 will last 30 minutes, while Race 2 will be 20 minutes.

The first qualifying session will determine the grid for the first race and the second session that for the third. The top eight from Q1 will start Race 2 in reverse order, with the rest of the grid following the session standings.

The drivers who take pole positions in Races 1 and 3 will be rewarded with two points. The fastest lap in each race will earn one point, if the driver finishes in the top 10. In Races 1 and 3, the top ten will score 25 to 1 point(s). In Race 2, the first eight will score from 10 to 1 point(s).
