Caio Collet's successor will be known after three days of testing at Paul-Ricard. This program is intended for young people aged 14 to 17.

The Winfield steering wheel renewed for 2019

The famous Volant Winfield program will be entitled to a new selection in 2019. A year after its rebirth, Winfield detection will be held February 23-25 on the Paul-Ricard circuit (Var).

During these three days, 18 young boys and girls, aged 14 to 17, will fight for the right to participate in a full French Formula 4 campaign. The Winfield Volant proved its worth in 2018, since its winner Caio Collet simply won F4 France straight away beforebe enrolled by the Renault Sport Academy.

 

To win the Winfield Volant, it will not be enough to be the fastest aboard the Mygale F4 with a motor Renault. You will have to demonstrate your abilities in the areas of personality, physical preparation, among others. The tests will be carried out on the 3,8 km configuration of the Var route.

Saturday February 23:

Arrival and administrative controls

Presentation of the Winfield team and the program

First workshops, interviews, theoretical courses, physical assessment, etc.

 

Sunday February 24:

Training workshops and briefings

Four driving sessions per driver

Debriefing

 

Monday, February 25:

Multiple choice of tests to validate previous learning

Briefing

Two qualifying sessions per driver

Announcement of the three finalists

Final qualification 

Interview with the jury
