Sébastien Loeb, currently in Spain for the Catalonia Rally, will extend his trip to the Iberian Peninsula to undertake a day of testing aboard the DPR GP2 single-seater.

Loeb testing aboard a GP2

Sébastien Loeb will board, next week, aboard the car used by DPR in GP2 Series. Citroën confirmed in Salou that the French driver would spend a day in Jerez to test behind the wheel of the David Price Racing team's single-seater. Sébastien Loeb, a few weeks ago, revealed that he needed to physically win in certain areas if he wanted to participate in circuit races (see elsewhere).

The five-time world rally champion has made the news more than once this season regarding his possible arrival in a racing seat. Formula 1. A freelance during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix had been mentioned, the season of WRC being completed on the date of the last F1 race of the season. Sébastien Loeb has always expressed his desire to say “yes” to anyone who offers him a drive in the premier single-seater category. Despite everything, the driver does not make it an obsession and has always recognized that Formula 1 is only a contingency.
