This Saturday saw the official end of the Abu Dhabi end-of-season FIA testing F2, with two final sessions dominated by the Russian Nikita mazepin.
Evolving for the Carlin team, the ART Grand Prix driver in 2018, achieved the reference time this Saturday in 1'50"473, the time established during the morning session, ahead of Callum Ilott (Uni-Virtuosi) and Louis Delétraz (Sauber Junior Team by Charouz).
The afternoon will finally see Mick Schumacher (Prema) achieve the peak time in 1’51”569, a session marked by the arrival of a few drops of rain. The German driver is ahead of Callum Ilott and Dan Ticktum (DAMS) after a run marked by the red flag caused by Giuliano Alesi (HWA) stopping on track.
But no one will have ultimately improved the absolute best time of these three days, established yesterday afternoon by Louis Delétraz in 1'50"124, just ahead of Robert Shwartzman (Prema), beaten by 52 thousandths.
