Our tribute article to Dilano van't Hoff, who died two years ago

Fatally injured on July 1, 2023, after an accident during the second race of the FRECA meeting at Spa-Francorchamps, the Dutchman was a promising driver and an extremely endearing young man. His teammates Victor Bernier and Sami Meguetounif, his friend from his karting days, Isack Hadjar, and his buddy Pepe Martí, told us about the boy they loved so much.

Dilano van't Hoff (2004-2023)

From the scene of the tragedy, on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, to the Red Bull Ring 1000 km away, where F1, F2 et F3 happened at the same time last year, the sadness was immense and the fear indescribable. Dilano van't Hoff, a young Dutch driver who was preparing to celebrate his 19th birthday at the end of July 2023, leaves behind his family, his loved ones, but also his track companions who appreciated him enormously. “I always saw Dilano as a friend rather than a teammate, Pepe Martí, F3 driver, who was Van't Hoff's teammate on several occasions, both in karts and single-seaters, told us.
