Paul Ricard, the balance sheet

During the first practice session on Wednesday, the top two on the timesheet are among the most experienced drivers in the field, as they will both be competing in their fourth season in GP2 this year.

Indeed, at the end of the day it is the driver of the Super Nova team, Javier Villa, who is ahead of Lucas di Grassi from Racing Engineering and Kamui Kobayashide from DAMS but also third driver Toyota en F1.

The next day it?s the turn of the new driver Addax, Romain Grosjean, to be the fastest during the morning session (1:09:015), but it is indeed the Brazilian Lucas di Grassi who will finally rank at the top of the list in the afternoon (1 ?08??841), just in front of his teammate Danis Clos.

For the third and final day of private testing, the drivers took the 2D version of the Paul Ricard circuit. Just like the day before, Lucas Di Grassi was the fastest (1:09:536) but this time in the morning session. In the afternoon it was the Russian Vitaly Petrov, Grosjean's teammate at Barwa Addax, who set the best time ahead of Zuber and Maldonano, but over the whole day di Grassi still remained the fastest .

Behind we find Andreas Zuber, Pastor Maldonado, Javier Villa, Alberto Valerio, Alvaro Parente, Kamui Kobayashi, Nico Hulkenberg and Danis Clos for the Top 10. Romain Grosjean finished in 14th position.

The next and final private test session will be held at the Barcelona circuit in two weeks, from March 23 to 25.
