As in the first practice session, the Frenchman finished at the top of the timesheet for the Pikes Peak Open category with a time of 2'36"63 while he was racing in the part that least suited his Porsche. .« The car is not used to this type of hairpin, but here it proves all its versatility and its chassis expresses itself wonderfully in the faster curves. With the altitude, we simply lack a little air. For my part, I continue to learn the track and its specificities. I'm quite curious to ride for the first time on the third sector, which seems faster. I'm going to discover these famous blind turns! »

Driving a car less powerful than the prototypes in the Unlimited category, Romain Dumas will probably not be able to win the general classification. However, the Frenchman is taking as much information as possible in order to prepare for the next editions of Pikes Peak, where he hopes to win one day. “ I still have so much fun.
