The class of 2023 Red Bull Junior Team is now official. The Austrian team has announced the composition of its academy for the coming season, as well as the programs of its young talents.

Reserve driver of the team F1, Liam Lawson retains the support of Red Bull and will be present in Super Formula this year. In Formula 2, no less than 6 drivers will be supported by Red Bull. Ayumu Iwasa will once again be in the F1 lobby for a second consecutive year, he who was reappointed by DAMS. Enzo Fittipaldi, 8th in Formula 2 last season, joins the Austrian academy and will drive for the Carlin team alongside another Red Bull driver: Zane Maloney, vice-champion of F3 in 2022.

Hadjar in Formula 2, Montoya in Formula 3

The Barbadian is moving to the next level just like Isack Hadjar, confirmed at Hitech GP this season. The Frenchman, 4th in Formula 3 last year, will be accompanied by Jak Crawford, also a member of the Red Bull Junior Team. The last driver supported by the Milton Keynes team is Dennis Hauger. The Norwegian, F3 champion in 2021, joins MP Motorsport for the 2023 season.

Two drivers from the Junior Team will be present in Formula 3. Sebastian Montoya, son of ex-F1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya, will be present with Hitech GP, he who finished 13th in the FRECA championship with Prema last season. He will be accompanied at Hitech GP by the Japanese Souta Arao, also confirmed within the Red Bull sector and resident of F4 France in 2022.

Enzo Deligny, 4th Frenchman recruited by Red Bull

On the lower level, we will find a Frenchman supported by Red Bull in 2023: Enzo Deligny. The young prodigy of karting becomes the 4th Habs to join the Red Bull Junior Team after Jean-Éric Vergne, Pierre Gasly and Isack Hadjar. He will make his debut in car this season with Campos Racing, in F4 Spain. The last two drivers in the 2023 class are Arvid Lindblad (F4 Italy with Prema) and Enzo Tarnvanichkul (Karting).

Five drivers have therefore lost support from Red Bull compared to 2022: Jehan Daruvala, Juri Vips, Noel Leon, Yuto Nomura and Jonny Edgar are no longer part of the Junior Team in 2023.
