Sette Camara takes pole at Paul-Ricard

Sergio Sette Camara (Dams) remained the fastest in qualifying for the F2 at Paul-Ricard (Var). The Brazilian who was the most efficient in testing once again set the benchmark with a lap of the Castellet circuit completed in 1'43''024 despite a final failed attempt.

Guanyu-Zhou (UNI-Virtuosi) was the closest, failing 3 tenths from pole, Jack Aitken (Campos Racing) and Nyck de Vries (ART GP) taking the second line.

The championship leader Nicholas latifi (Dams) will start from 6th row between Callum Ilott (Charouz Racing System) and Nobuharu Matsushita (Carlin). The Japanese preceded Mick Schumacher (Prema Powerteam).

Dorian Boccolacci (Campos Racing) is the best-ranked Frenchman on the grid, in 9th position. Giuliano Alesi (Trident) clashed with Louis Deletraz (Carlin) at the start of the session, the accident causing a red flag and leaving the French driver without a single time. Anthoine Hubert (Arden International) was barely better off when he encountered problems with his car relegating him to 15th place.

F1 Race 2 at Paul-Ricard will be broadcast this Saturday at 16:40 p.m. on Canal+ Sport.
