Campos Racing wasted no time. The day after the announcement of its participation in the brand new Eurocup-3 championship, the name of the first driver to enter this new championship has been made official: Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak will be there. A new string to the Thai bow after several years in car, who will take the wheel of the Tatuus chassis to the powertrain Alfa Romeo in 2023.

« I welcome Tasanapol to Campos Racing, says Adrian Campos Jr., team director. We are very happy to be able to count on him for this new adventure in Eurocup-3. Last year he was a driver who, as a rival, made things very difficult for us in F4 Spain and we are sure that together we can finish a great year fighting for the best positions in the championship . »

Since its beginnings in karting in 2013, the 17-year-old driver multiplied the categories. In F4 Spain with MP Motorsport, he ranked 9th overall for his rookie season of 2022. He also participated in other F4 championships, in France, England and the United Arab Emirates, in which he signed several success with 13 podiums including 3 victories. At the same time, the Thai is involved in FREMEC alongside Pinnacle VAR. « I am very happy to announce that I will compete with Campos Racing in the Eurocup-3 championship, declares the pilot at the dawn of this inaugural season. It will be a real challenge to compete in this new championship, but I am confident that I can succeed with a great team behind me who can help me improve throughout the season. I want to thank Campos Racing and all my sponsors for making this possible. »

The category, which competes with FRECA, will make its debut at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) at the beginning of May, before settling on several tracks in Spain, Italy and Austria. For now, Inthraphuvasak's teammates are not known... and neither are his competitors. Only Palou Motorsport, a very young team founded by Alex Palou, and MP Motorsport have formalized their participation.
