Tests: Christian Lundgaard dominates the first day

Almost a month after the inaugural round of the 2021 season held in Bahrain, the Formula 2 are back on track for three days of testing near Barcelona. Christian Lundgaard (ART Grand Prix) dominated the day by setting the best time in the day's two sessions (1'29"594). 

In the morning, the Dane dominated Felipe Drugovich (UNI-Virtuosi/+0 »178) and Jüri Vips (Hitech/+0 »394), before beating Richard Verschoor (MP Motorsport/+0 »338) and his French teammate Theo Pourchaire (ART Grand Prix/+0 »340). The Habs had previously finished the morning session in 16th position, at 1”144. Overall, it was especially ART Grand Prix, MP Motorsport and Hitech Grand Prix which stood out the most. 

The other French team DAMS showed improvement compared to last season with Marcus Armstrong's 7th and 4th place this Friday. As a reminder, the twenty-two single-seaters will be back on track Saturday and Sunday, for twice six hours of driving.
