The Tech3 team is collecting home races in 2024. After being welcomed as a star in Jérez (Spain), where fans of the young Pedro Acosta came to support the first Grand Prix at home in MotoGP of their protégé, the team went to Le Mans (France), to officially compete on home soil.
This week, it's Austria that awaits the red machines around the corner. In addition to bearing the name of their title sponsor, the Red Bull Ring is hosting the eleventh round of the world championship on KTM grounds, with two of the four bikes being entrusted to Tech3.
An important meeting during which Nicolas Goyon hopes to see his drivers shine. Before the start of the weekend, the team leader entrusted very different objectives to each of Pedro Acosta and Augusto Fernandez.
“We are about to start the most important round of the year. The Austrian Grand Prix. The latter pays tribute to our two partners: Pierer Mobility and Red Bull, begins French. Pedro Acosta and Augusto Fernandez will be able to use all the data acquired by the test team during the tests carried out at Spielberg. They will give their best in front of the Austrian fans.

At Silverstone, Pedro was back to his best, He continues. I have no doubt that his ability to learn quickly and his good experience in Austria will help him fight at the top. As a reminder, a Pierer Mobility machine was on the podium in both the Sprint and the Main Race last season. This means he is capable of it.
For his part, Augusto is still struggling. He is always looking for a benchmark race. The braking and cornering of the Red Bull Ring will be more suited to our bike and its style. This will definitely help it be faster” concludes Nicolas Goyon.
After having signed five top-3 finishes in seven rounds, Sprint and Race combined, Pedro Acosta continues his series of three events without a podium. It remains to be seen whether the advantages conferred by the data he will have this weekend, as well as the support of KTM fans at home, will allow him to return to such a ranking.
