  • Starting from pole position, Marc Marquez maintained his advantage at the start. Behind, Jorge Martin took advantage of a good start to propel himself into second position.
  • During the first lap of the race, the multiple world champion created a lead of seven tenths, which would quickly stabilise. It was also during the first lap that Johann Zarco's Sprint (10th at the start) stopped. The Frenchman fell, as did Aleix Espargaro.
  • At the halfway point, Marc Marquez is in the lead, with a lead of more than two seconds over Jorge Martin. Behind him, Pecco Bagnaia is having a nightmare, and is being passed successively by his rivals, without it being possible to really define the reasons for this poor performance.
  • On the eighth lap, the Yamaha of fabio quartararo will also swallow the championship leader's bike to take seventh position.
  • In front of the checkered flag, the multiple world champion is not worried. Marc Marquez wins the Sprint of the Grand Prix of Aragon on home soil, after more than three seconds ahead of Jorge Martin. The number 93 thus regains victory after 1043 days, and wins his first success with Ducati. Pedro Acosta completes the top-3.

  • Pecco Bagnaia suffers, and manages to bring back the point of ninth place by a hair's breadth, defending his position from Marco Bezzecchi. Returning to his box, the number 1 hinted that the problems he encountered had been caused by a defect in his tires. A mishap that had already happened to Jorge Martin last year during the main race in Qatar.
  • Fabio Quartararo finished in eighth position, picking up some important points.
  • Note the fall of Franco Morbidelli halfway through the race, causing his premature withdrawal from the race.
