- Unlike Friday, the Saturday of the 2025 Americas GP of MotoGP The Austin race took place on a dry track. In the morning, in Texas, Marc Marquez took pole position. But for the first time this season, his brother wasn't directly behind him. Fabio Di Giannantonio deprived the brothers of a one-two finish.
- At the start, none of his three men particularly distinguished themselves, as it was Pecco Bagnaia, who started 6th, who took the lead of the race by diving down the inside at the first corner. A daring move that gave rise to the first heated exchanges of the season between the two teammates.
- After a series of battles, Marc Marquez regained the advantage and completed the first lap in the lead. Behind him, Alex Marquez honked his horn and eventually overtook Pecco Bagnaia to chase his brother.
- The first lap was also marked by the intense battle for fourth place between Fabio Di Giannantonio and Pedro Acosta. The two men touched twice in sector 2, without consequences. This time-consuming duel, however, benefited fabio quartararo, who propels himself into the top 4 at the very start of the race.
- At the start of the third of ten laps, Marc Marquez appears to be in control of his race. He has a lead of five tenths of a second over his brother, while Pecco Bagnaia is facing a comeback from Fabio Quartararo.
Marc Márquez on the way to a third consecutive Sprint victory
- Over the next few laps, Marc Marquez really imposed his pace, lapping 4 tenths of a second faster than his brother, further extending his lead. Alex Marquez, for his part, also widened his gap to Bagnaia, who found himself almost two seconds behind the Spaniard's GP24 at the halfway point.
- Behind, Fabio Quartararo made a mistake that benefited Franco Morbidelli. Behind the Frenchman were Fabio Di Giannantonio and Joan Mir. The Spaniard, however, lost his chances of scoring points by crashing after a mistake. Free of any obstacles in his rearview mirrors, the #49 took advantage to relegate Fabio Quartararo to sixth place. He would inflict the same fate on his teammate on lap 6.
- In the second half of the race, Bagnaia was still 1.9 seconds behind, but began to lap faster than his rivals. Marc Marquez, however, controlled his pace and kept his rivals at a good distance. The top three remained unchanged until the checkered flag. The Marquez brothers thus completed their third consecutive sprint, one behind the other, leading the race.
- After a tough duel with the two VR46 riders, Fabio Quartararo snatched a fine sixth place. Fabio Di Giannantonio won his duel with his teammate, finishing fourth. Pedro Acosta, Luca Marini, and Ai Ogura also earned points. Johann Zarco finished an anonymous race in sixteenth place with his Honda.
