- Dominant since the second free practice session, Francesco Bagnaia will start at the head of the two races on the program this weekend. When we think that he was far from 100% of his capacity at the start of the weekend!
- Marc Márquez and Pecco Bagnaia embarrassed each other during these qualifications, each blaming the other. Enough to generate some nice little tensions in the parc ferme at the end of the session.

- Johann Zarco failed to get the right wheel which would have allowed him to take pole position. He took 8th place in these qualifications.
- The third free practice session this morning raised some hopes in the Yamaha clan. Hopes that came up against the wall of reality with the elimination of Quarterly and Morbidelli in Q1.
- With his penalty, Alex Márquez misses the opportunity to start for the first time with his brother Marc on the front row of a MotoGP race. However, this will be the case this afternoon in the Sprint Race and that does not detract from the exceptional performance of the Spanish siblings.
MotoGP Italian Grand Prix Qualifying Standings
Alex Marquez: " I am very happy. When you start riding under 1'45, it goes really fast! I will start 6th tomorrow with the penalty which is actually pretty good. We will already see the weather for the Sprint race. If it rains it will be a nightmare for everyone because no one has any references on wet tracks. »
Marc Marquez: “I don't understand Pecco's reaction because I was following Bezzecchi when he came out of the pits. It was his decision to stop by me and get upset. Good for him, and good for me because it allowed me to take his wheel and grab second place! For the Sprint I see myself between 6th and 10th, but we'll see. »
Pecco Bagnaia: “It’s one of the best rides of my life. I have had a very good pace since the start of the weekend. I won't get into any controversy with the other drivers because it's not worth it. I'm just happy. »
