Bagnaia regains the advantage despite a fall

The pilots of the MotoGP met this morning under radiant sunshine for the final free practice session counting towards qualifying. And in the time trial game, Francesco Bagnaia took back the lead with a lap in 1'45.393, getting closer to the circuit record (1'45.187).

The Italian, who crashed in the last corner damaging his GP22, has a little more than two tenths ahead of Aleix Espargaro and Luca Marini. The half-brother of Valentino Rossi snatches the third time with just five thousandths ahead of Johann Zarco.

Marco Bezzecchi completes the Top 5 ahead of Enea Bastianini, who also made a mistake at the very end of the session. Jorge Martin made up for it after a difficult first day by setting the seventh fastest time. Pol Espargaro is the first Honda rider in eighth place ahead of Takaaki Nakagami.

fabio quartararo was hot since he concluded the exercise with the 10th fastest time and secured his place in Q2.

Among those who will have to go through the repechages, we can cite Marc Marquez, author of the 21st time, the two Suzukis of Alex Rins, 12th, and Joan Mir, 16th, or even Jack Miller who could not do better than 15th overall after three free practice sessions.
