MotoE calendar: 14 races and 7 meetings in 2022

Nicolas Goubert, executive director of the MotoE World Cup, had already announced in the columns of Auto-Hebdo that the MotoE season would consist of 14 races spread over seven meetings.

The provisional calendar has just been officially communicated by the FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme). The kick-off will be given in Spain on the Jerez circuit. Then, the Energica will head towards Le Mans, Mugello and Assen.

MotoE will also be on the program for the first ever Finnish Grand Prix at the KymiRing circuit before Austria at the end of August and Misano at the beginning of September to conclude the season. Please note that two official three-day tests will be organized ahead of the 2022 season in Jerez from March 7 to 9 and April 11 to 13.

This provisional calendar does not currently conflict with that of the Superbike world championship and should allow certain riders to play on both tables more easily. Dominique Aegerter, for example, had to skip a Supersport world championship event in 2021 to compete in the MotoE final in Misano. If the Swiss did not ultimately win the title in MotoE, he managed to take the crown in Supersport.

Provisional MotoE calendar for 2022 (2 races/event):

April 30-1er May: Spain (Jerez)
May 14-15: France (Le Mans)
May 28-29: Italy (Mugello)
June 25-26: Netherlands (Assen)
July 9-10: Finland (KymiRing),
August 20-21: Austria (Red Bull Ring)
September 3-4: San Marino (Misano)
