Dorna excludes RNF from the MotoGP field for the 2024 season!

The Valencia Grand Prix will mark the last appearance of the Aprilia RS-GP under the colors of CryptoDATA MotoGP Team in the premier category of the motorcycle championships. The FIM, IRTA and Dorna announced this Monday, November 27 that the team's contract would not be renewed for 2024.

The announcement official specifies that the reason for this termination is due to “repeated offenses and violations of the Participation Agreement affecting the public image of MotoGP”, then specifying that additional information would be published in due course.
However, it is rumored that the exact reason is linked to payment problems.
The selection committee will therefore have the task of examining the applications with a view to resuming the team for the 2024 campaign. A priori the drivers' contracts are not in danger, while the latter's machines will remain Aprilias.
