It is a dry track which welcomed the pilots of the MotoGP this Saturday morning at Red Bull Ring. And in these conditions, Johann Zarco was the fastest with a time of 1'28.964. The Ducati rider dislodged his compatriot fabio quartararo from first place in his very last fast lap.
Jack Miller inherits third position ahead of Jorge Martin, author of the last two pole positions at the Red Bull Ring last year. Francesco Bagnaia completes the Top 5 ahead of Enea Bastianini and Alex Rins, the first Suzuki representative in the hierarchy. Brad Binder ranked as the best KTM rider in eighth position ahead of the Aprilia of Maverick Viñales and the Suzuki of Joan Mir.
Victim of a fall at the exit of the chicane, Aleix Espargaro fails at the gates of the Top 10 and will have to go through Q1 just like Takaaki Nakagami, Marco Bezzecchi and his brother Pol.
