We have been waiting for a pole position from a Frenchman at Le Mans for four years: fabio quartararo ended the long drought experienced by the Bugatti circuit spectators by securing his second consecutive pole after the one obtained in Spain, at Jerez. The Yamaha rider will start from the front row ahead of the Marquez brothers: Marc (Ducati) is second and Alex (Gresini), the championship leader, is third. On the other hand, the double world champion Francesco Bagnaia was once again beaten by his teammate and will only start sixth. The race starts at 15 p.m., French time!

15h25 - Pedro Acosta crashed on the final lap, losing his fifth place to Maverick Viñales. Johann Zarco climbed to sixth.

🏁 MARC MARQUEZ RECEIVED 6/6! Sixth straight victory in the season for the Spaniard, who finished ahead of Alex Marquez, who finished second in a row for the sixth time. Fermin Aldeguer completed the podium ahead of pole-sitter Fabio Quartararo, who just missed out on the podium.

12 / 13 - The fratricidal duel between the KTMs benefits Quartararo, who was now only 0 seconds ahead of Acosta. He should be able to hold on.

2/13 – Fall of Pecco Bagnaia! The Italian had made a good start and was in 4th place when he fell at the Dunlop curve.

14h51 – ​🏎️ Isack Hadjar, the pilot of Formula 1 of Racing Bulls, is present on the Le Mans grid to support Fabio Quartararo and Johann Zarco. "I saw him on the front row, but I didn't see him beating Marc Marquez, what he did was very strong," Hadjar said about Fabio Quartararo's pole position on Canal+.

14h48 – 1'29″324: Fabio Quartararo broke the Bugatti circuit record this morning by taking pole position, erasing the previous record set… on Friday. Marc Marquez had beaten it during the test session with a time of 1″29″855.
