And four that make 20 for fabio quartararoBy securing his fourth pole position of the season, the Frenchman reached the symbolic milestone of 20 with Yamaha. He becomes the third rider to achieve such a performance with the Japanese manufacturer after Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo. Quartararo aims for at least a podium in Sprint

"If I'm in this position, it's because I felt good, smiled Quartararo at the Canal+ microphone. Even in terms of pace, we're pretty good. We're going to try to have a good start, a good sprint. More than tomorrow's race, it's this afternoon's race that we need to focus on. We have the potential to have a good race today."

"We may not be favorites, but I think we have the pace to be in the top three. We're a little lacking in other areas, like the start. What's certain is that I'm going to give my all to get a good result. The slightly cooler conditions can help us."

The Sprint Race starts at 15:00 p.m. this Saturday in the Netherlands.
