Jack “Thriller” Miller sets the best time in this first practice session for the French Grand Prix MotoGP.
- Only 11th, almost 5 tenths behind Miller's probes, fabio quartararo is not yet in rhythm. Let's hope for the Frenchman that the track is faster this afternoon.
- Marc Márquez, three-time winner at Le Mans, makes his comeback this weekend after 3 rounds of absence. A 1000rd GP without him would not have had the same flavor. A return unfortunately disrupted by a fall.

- The drivers set off on a green and fresh track but on a Bugatti circuit bathed in sunshine. The times of the first 2022 free practice session were largely beaten by more than 3 tenths of a second. It’s off to a great start at Le Mans!
- Two regular drivers are still absent this weekend due to injury, Miguel Oliveira replaced by Luca Savadori and Enea Bastianini replaced by the great returnee Danilo Petrucci. Raúl Fernández was only able to complete three laps before having to withdraw from the rest of the weekend.
- Takaaki Nakagami saw his Honda engine go up in smoke while Fabio di Giannantonio went to the ground in the Dunlop chicane without major damage.
- Augusto Fernandez, the GASGAS rookie, stood out with certainly his best session since the start of the season. Long present in the Top10, the young Spaniard finished with a fine 14th time.
