It's a temple to the premier class of motorcycling. The Mugello circuit appeared on the calendar in 1976 and has not left it since 1994, with the exception of the 2020 season due to the pandemic. The Italians often succeed at home, since Valentino Rossi holds the record for victories on this track (7) and Francesco Bagnaia has won the last 3 editions. Marc Márquez, for his part, has won only once in MotoGP here, in 2014. An opportunity for his teammate to regain ground?

This Friday, the Ducatis were beaten in the game of the best lap. It was a KTM rider, Maverick Viñales, who set the best time of the day, narrowly beating Bagnaia and Márquez. On the French side, fabio quartararo was confident about qualifying when he arrived at Mugello, but the Yamaha rider crashed on Friday. Will he still be able to regain pole position? The answer will be late morning.
