Alors que le MotoGP stops at Le Mans this weekend for the French Grand Prix, Johann Zarco continues to loudly proclaim his ambitions. The French driver, a member of the Honda satellite team, LCR, occupies seventh place in the Drivers' standings, behind fabio quartararo, after five races. He thus finished in the top 10 five times, sprints and long races combined.
As a reminder, the two Frenchmen are currently the two best non-Ducati riders on the grid. Zarco, who joined the LCR team last season, is currently the best rider in the Honda galaxy. "I would like to be the only non-Ducati rider to bother them", he says in an interview for the official MotoGP website.
"Starting my second year with Honda and LCR with a top result, better than what you could expect, I think it gives everyone joy. It also really boosts motivation to be able to believe in better things.", Johann Zarco continues.

Factory driver next year? Zarco strongly believes in it!
So, this weekend, at home, at Le Mans, the French driver believes in a great result. "I really hope that we can achieve a podium finish in the near future. I thought we were very far away from it. But when I race and I can feel the podium, I tell myself that maybe we are closer than I thought.", assures the resident of the LCR team.
If he continues on this path, and remains the best Honda rider, he believes that having a promotion within the factory team, "It's something possible". "My relationship with Lucio Cecchinello and the LCR team is also very good. Having all my opportunities in terms of equipment and parts as a factory rider in the LCR team is also a very good privilege.", he specifies all the same.
"We need to talk about it. If I'm still the first Honda rider, it might make sense for me to go."he concludes.
