Freshly crowned in MotoGP, Jorge Martin has already started the next challenge of his career, which he has taken on by joining Aprilia. At the Official Test in Barcelona, which took place just two days after his victory, the Spaniard took his first turns on the RS-GP handlebars.
A day that seemed complicated for the reigning world champion. Martin, in fact, showed some difficulty in controlling a machine that was more unstable than the Ducati that led him to the title.
Away from the racetrack, Jorge Martin can still enjoy his victory. Which he does not fail to do. The Spaniard has also attracted attention elsewhere, however, as seen on the cover of Men's Health magazine on which he appeared.
The probable future No. 1 explains his relationship with success, and the change in mindset that contributed to his success. The 26-year-old driver thus delves once again into the questioning that was his after missing out on the crown in 2023.

"Well, obviously winning is great, that's very clear, but you have to go a little further... I think winning without more is something empty, begins Martin in remarks relayed by MotoGP.com. You have to look for a deeper meaning. Winning for your people, leaving something for the future. I look for that meaning in things so I don't get obsessed with winning."
A mentality that certainly adds pressure on a driver's shoulders, as the latter has successfully worked on this aspect of his management of the title fight.
"Basically, I worked on my head a little bit. I had room to go in that direction, He continues. Before, I was obsessed with winning. I wanted to win and that was it. This year, I discovered that it doesn't make me win more."
