The French GP, voted best GP of the year 2022

Carmelo Ezpeleta (CEO of Dorna Sports) and Claude Michy (PHA/Claude Michy, promoter of the French GP), a collaboration of almost 30 years.

The French Grand Prix has been designated as the best Grand Prix of 2022. This is the first time that this meeting, organized by PHA/Claude Michy, has received this award which takes into account all aspects of the weekend.

More than 110 people visited the French Bugatti circuit on race day alone in 000, a real event for a weekend full of emotions on the track and activities for fans.

This meeting has long been a pioneer in the calendar MotoGP™ thanks to a program rich in entertainment including its traditional Saturday mechanical show or meetings with the drivers.

With not one, but two representatives fighting at the forefront in MotoGP™, the clamor from the stands is only growing. “We are proud of this award, but I must first of all thank Carmelo Ezpeleta for the trust he has placed in me since 1994 and the respect I owe him,” confides Claude Michy. Our fruitful discussions with IRTA have always helped us in our initiatives. We associate with this recognition all the stakeholders of the SHARK Grand Prix de France: the ACO, its collaborators and its commissioners, our private and public partners, our suppliers, the Sarthe prefecture and the local authorities, without forgetting our wonderful public. We are actively preparing our 30th edition of the French Grand Prix which will take place from May 12 to 14, 2023.”

All the stands are already complete for 2023, but PHA/Claude Michy hopes to be able to install more to meet demand. Claude Michy has already given us some clues of what will be on the program and it promises to be grandiose. More Info here !
