The 2025 World Championship calendar MotoGP has been published by FIM, and many changes are to be noted. The discipline will once again try to organize 22 Grands Prix. Which was not easy in 2024, when three events were canceled.

During this tour, MotoGP will visit a total of 18 countries, including the return of the Czech Republic Grand Prix in Brno (July 18-20). As well as the inauguration of Balaton Park in Hungary (August 22-24).

Two meetings that will be grouped around the Austrian Grand Prix, so as not to disperse the races in Eastern Europe. Although in reality the summer break takes place between the first two mentioned.

The regionalised nature of recent MotoGP campaigns will, however, lose some of its value, as the Thai Grand Prix, a staple of the Asian tour, will serve as the opening round, as recently announced.

The year will also begin in the four corners of the world. After Thailand, we will have to go to Argentina. Before heading to the United States for the famous race on the COTA. Qatar will complete this little world tour, from April 11 to 13. Well after the Ramadan which had prevented the country from organizing the opening of the season.

MotoGP European Tour Reimagined

After this stage, we will witness the start of a European tour that has also been revamped. If the Grand Prix of Spain and France do not change slot, the British Grand Prix will find its place on the calendar at the end of May, and no longer at the beginning of August.

The race in Aragon will take place immediately after, compared to an early September slot in 2024. This has the effect of pushing back the Italian GP by three weeks. The Sachsenring will not close the first part of the season this time, since Brno will take place from July 18 to 20.

This will shift the summer break by three weeks compared to 2024. A pattern more similar to that adopted by the Formula 1.

Following the cancellation of the Indian Grand Prix – and the change of the Thailand Grand Prix – the Asian tour of the sport will consist of just four events. Japan, Indonesia, Australia and Malaysia will precede a European finale. MotoGP will head to Portimao, before concluding in Valencia.
