The paddock MotoGP is going this weekend to the Bugatti Le Mans circuit to compete in the French Grand Prix, the 1000th GP in MotoGP history. Last year, beyond the popular success, the French Grand Prix was elected by the promoter Dorna and the FIM, best Grand Prix of the year, rewarding the efforts of Claude Michy and the PHA teams and the the ACO.
More than 110 fans were present in the stands for a record edition. So many spectators came to salute the exploits of the French drivers, in particular Johann Zarco, still looking for his first victory and fabio quartararo, first French world champion in the premier category.

Heart of the route welcoming the 24 hours of Le Mans, the Bugatti circuit was built in 1965. Located 5 km from the city of Le Mans and 200 km southwest of Paris, the Bugatti circuit was the setting for Grands Prix since the end of the 60s, until until Alberto Puig's accident in 1995 removed him from the calendar in favor of Paul Ricard for 4 years. After new developments were made to ensure the safety of the drivers, the Bugatti circuit returned to MotoGP in 2000. This narrow, extremely technical route alternates between tight turns which are negotiated in first gear and long straight lines which impose late braking.
