The Portuguese GP MotoGP Schedule

Four and a half months after the 2022 Valencia Grand Prix, the paddock returns to Portimão this weekend to compete in the inaugural round of the campaign MotoGP 2023. With a record calendar, numerous transfers and the introduction of Sprint races, all the ingredients are there for a fantastic season.

The title fight promises to be exciting again this year. Looking at the latest tests, Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) is logically the favorite to succeed himself but will have to fend off the attacks of several riders ready to do anything to dethrone him. fabio quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha), Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) and Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team) showed themselves to be his most serious opponents during pre-season testing. Johann Zarco (Prima Pramac Ducati) is still finding his feet but showed good progress during this test.

Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda Team), now at 100% capacity, is also expected in the title fight. After 3 seasons marred by injuries, the eight-time World Champion is back in full possession of his means and determined to conquer a new MotoGP crown.
The Algarve International Autodrome, nestled in the heart of the magnificent eponymous region of Portugal, has a capacity of 100 spectators. Better known as Portimão, a neighboring port city less than half an hour away, this route was inaugurated on November 000, 2.

Qualifications 2: 12:15 – 12:30
Sprint race: 16:00 p.m.

Sunday March 26:
