After riding in motocross, then riding an RC213V-S (a production sports car derived from its MotoGP) in Portimão, of a CBR600RR in Aragón and at the wheel of a karting, Marc Marquez was finally declared fit to travel to Sepang for the first official pre-season test.
Premiering my new #CRG!! First time in a KZ, a lot of fun but I admit I got a bit of a kick out of it😅
Beginning with the #CRGKZ!! First time in a KZ, very funny but I had to admit that I had a lot of backlog of work 😅 pic.twitter.com/8UrMXtTvjP- Marc Márquez (@marcmarquez93) January 24, 2022
Affected by diplopia (double vision) following a fall in training ahead of the Algarve GP last year, the Catalan observed conservative treatment. The press release from the official Honda team specifies that Marquez underwent a medical check-up last Monday which confirmed that this treatment was a complete success. He is now able to race on his RC213V for the first time since his victory at the Emilia-Romagna GP.
Marquez will therefore meet his teammate Pol Espargaro on February 5 and 6 in Malaysia on the Sepang circuit then from February 11 to 13 in Indonesia on the brand new Mandalika track.
