Marco Bezzecchi joins Jorge Martín at Aprilia

Marco Bezzecchi signs with Aprilia for 2025 - MotoGP

The transfer market is once again in the news this month of June. After the numerous movements made by the Ducati and KTM clans, it is Aprilia which puts an end to the debates.

The Noale factory announced the arrival of Jorge Martín in its ranks shortly after the retirement announcement of Aleix Espargaro. She had to find a second driver since Maverick Viñales announced his departure to Tech3.

It seems that the negotiations did not drag on. This Monday, the Greens indeed formalized the signing of Marco Bezzecchi.

Current VR46 driver, the Italian will join Jorge Martín to become factory driver from the 2025 season, and for a duration which has not yet been communicated. As a result, he will become the first Transalpine to race for the brand full-time since 2020.

Since his arrival in the premier class in 2022, Bezzecchi has scored nine podiums and three victories, while he also took third place in the championship last year.

With this announcement, all official European factory teams have blocked their line-up for next year. Pedro Acosta and Brad Binder will drive for KTM. While Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez will serve Ducati.

Yamaha and Honda for their part still have to communicate who will be the teammates of fabio quartararo and Luca Marini.
