Marco Bezzecchi became a national hero this Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Mugello. The Italian rider won the Italian Grand Prix. MotoGP for the first time in his career, also delivering a magnificent home victory for Aprilia.
Hailed as a hero by his team and a delirious crowd gathered at the foot of the podium, the native of Rimini (Italy) experienced an unforgettable day in Tuscany, even receiving congratulations from his compatriot Andrea Kimi Antonelli, leader of the world championship.
