Just a few weeks after his heavy fall in the warm-up of the Indonesian GP and his package in Argentina, Marc Marquez will be back in business. The eight-time World Champion, who was diagnosed with a new episode of diplopia (double vision), has completed his conservative treatment.
On Wednesday, the Spaniard was seen on the Alcarras circuit riding a CBR600RR to assess his condition before heading to Texas. The Circuit of the Americas (COTA) is a track on which he has won almost everything except for the 2019 edition when he made a mistake, apparently due to a gearbox problem, so that he conducted hostilities very comfortably.
« Of course I am very happy to be back, it is a great pleasure to come back and especially to do it on one of my favorite circuits, Marquez said.. Regardless of the situation, I really love riding in Texas and have some incredible memories there. We have work to do after missing two races and the whole weekend in Argentina, so I'm not here to set a target at the moment. There are many things to do and consider, but the important thing is that we are back on the bike this weekend. »
