After Aleix Espargaro in FP1, it's Jorge Martin's turn to set the best time in the second free practice session of the Aragon GP. The Pramac driver clocked a time of 1'47.402.
fabio quartararo, who seems to have found solutions to make the difference on this track which is usually difficult for the Yamaha, rose to second, 74 thousandths behind Martin. He is ahead of his compatriot Johann Zarco, Enea Bastianini and his main rival for the title in the person of Francesco Bagnaia, who drops two tenths to Martin.

Still in the running, Alex Rins places his GSX-RR in sixth place ahead of the first Aprilia, that of Maverick Viñales, who led the proceedings for a few moments.
For his return to business, Marc Marquez set the eighth time of the day with the status of best Honda driver. Jack Miller and Luca Marini complete the provisional Top 10 which will go directly to Q2.

Among the losers of the afternoon, Espargaro fell and was pushed back to 13th in the hierarchy. Note that this is his second fall of the day.
