Mir takes control, Quartararo makes a mistake

We expected that fabio quartararo strikes first, but that was not the case during FP1 of the Spanish GP. The Frenchman certainly led the debates at the start of the session, but the Frenchman made a mistake at the last corner, fortunately without consequences for the world champion.

All in all, it was Joan Mir who took the lead with a lap in 1'38.194. The Spaniard finished ahead of his teammate Alex Rins and the first Honda in the hierarchy in the person of Alex Marquez. Aleix Espargaro was fourth ahead of Quartararo and Takaaki Nakagami. Brad Binder, Pol Espargaro, Maverick Viñales and Jack Miller completed the Top 10.

Ranked 11th, Marc Marquez is currently not guaranteed a place in Q2, just like Enea Bastianini, Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin. Johann Zarco, for his part, inherited the 17th time.
