Aprilia continues to lead the world championship MotoGP Thanks to its two factory riders, Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martín, now separated by 17 points in the overall standings. After losing some points to his teammate in the Sprint, Bezzecchi, by winning his fourth Grand Prix of the season, regained a small lead. Third, 39 points behind, Fabio Di Giannantonio managed to stay in touch with the leading Aprilias.
It was from Pedro Acosta, in fourth place, that the real gap opened up, with a deficit of 70 points, equivalent to almost two perfect weekends. Returning from injury, Marc Márquez climbed back up to eighth, ironically due to his brother Álex's injury in Barcelona.
