It's sweet revenge for the 2024 world champion, who is the new leader of the world championship. MotoGPPedro Acosta, who finished one point ahead of his teammate Marco Bezzecchi after he crashed during the Austin Sprint, remains third in the championship standings, just eight points behind the new leader. A consistent performer, Acosta is third in the standings.

The gap is now wider with Fabio Di Giannantonio, fourth, twenty points behind Martín. Poleman in Austin, the Italian was hit on the first lap by Marc Márquez, who is sixth in the championship after the Sprint on one of his favorite circuits.

Second in the Sprint, Francesco Bagnaia is back on track, currently sitting eighth in the overall standings after a particularly difficult start to the season. Winner of the Grand Prix twelve months ago, will the Italian launch an offensive in Austin to climb back up the standings? We'll get our first glimpse of the answer this Sunday at 22 p.m. for the United States Grand Prix.
