For the first time in this 2025 season, the drivers will have to compete in two consecutive Grand Prix races, with the Dutch one taking place just a week after the last round in Italy.

The Assen circuit, located in the north of the country, is renowned for being one of the most technical on the calendar, with rapid changes of direction, particularly in a very technical final sector.

Pecco Bagnaia has already built up a solid track record, having won three races in a row. After the disappointment of Mugello, where he suffered a home victory over the Marquez brothers, the two-time world champion has a second chance to bounce back in this difficult start to the season.

The French grid have also already distinguished themselves on this track. fabio quartararo having found victory in 2021 in MotoGP, and Johann Zarco having won the 2015 edition, in Moto2.
