- As in the morning, the Marquez brothers, in great shape since the start of the 2025 season, MotoGP, took control of the session from the first minutes of action. Alex was the first to get in front, but Marc quickly responded with a time of 1:51.810. The Marquezs thus fought for the reference time until the middle of the session, without leaving anything to their opponents.
- In the top 10, the VR46 riders shine, gradually improving until they lock in provisional third and fourth positions. Behind them, Pecco Bagnaia completes the top five, half a second off the lead.
- The No. 63 driver, however, was quick to wake up. With 27 minutes remaining on the clock, he threatened to take the lead for the first time, clocking a time of 1:51.773, less than a tenth behind Alex Marquez and ahead of his garage neighbor. He finally took the lead 15 minutes later, after setting a time of 1:50.975.
- There was little action on track before the very end of the session, and everyone's final quick attempts. The final minutes of the MotoGP tests in Qatar were marked by Jack Miller's impressive crash at Turn 7. The Australian recovered quickly despite the crash. Somkiat Chantra came very close to crashing a few moments later, but regained control of his machine in an almost unexpected manner.
- Before the checkered flag, Franco Morbidelli caused a surprise, dislodging Pecco Bagnaia from first place by more than two tenths of a second. Pecco Bagnaia could not fight back, and finished second, just ahead of Marc Marquez.
- Jorge Martín concluded his first day of action of the season with some difficulty. The number 1 driver showed some weaknesses under heavy braking. He finished the tests in 20th position, still more than two seconds off the leader.
- fabio quartararo qualifies for Q2 with the 6th fastest time. After the problems he experienced in the morning, Johann Zarco sets the tenth fastest time, and also qualifies directly for Q2.
