The day after a Grand Prix that was at least disputed in Jerez, the five manufacturers entered in MotoGP took part in the traditional day of Official Test organized in Spain the day after the event. Aprilia continues to make improvements to its RS-GP, and can count on Marco Bezzecchi to support Lorenzo Savadori, who began working on these tests during the Spanish Grand Prix weekend.

Johann Zarco ended the day with the fastest time of the Honda riders. The Frenchman finished the day in ninth position, with a time of 1:36.831, one second slower than Marc Marquez's reference time. Brad Binder was fast at the start of the day, holding the lead on the scoreboard before being overtaken by his rivals' attempts. KTM test rider Dani Pedrosa also rode to help with development. Maverick Viñales, on the KTM Tech3, was active throughout the day, before securing a solid second place..

The next Official Test Day will take place on June 9 in Spain, the day after the Aragon Grand Prix.
