New program for the Argentine GP

It is a race against time which is being played out on the other side of the world for the holding of the Argentine GP. Material is still being transported to the Termas de Rio Hondo route.

More precisely, the last cargo plane approaching Salvador airport in Brazil for a final technical stopover before heading to Tucuman (around 4 hours of flight) where the boxes can finally be unloaded to go to the circuit (around 2 hours of driving).

The teams who have not received their equipment will therefore have to spend the night installing their box and preparing their machine for the free practice sessions and qualifying which will be held tomorrow. Initially, there were to be two sessions (FP1 and FP2) in the three categories counting for access to Q2. THE MotoGP had to benefit from a third session (like FP4 in normal times) to prepare for the race.

But to ensure that everyone is ready on time, particularly in the premier category (the one most affected by this logistical problem), the program has been changed again. The MotoGP riders will finally hit the track from 12:35 p.m. (local time) after the two free practice sessions FP1 and FP2 for Moto3 and Moto2.

The Moto3 and Moto2 protagonists will then begin their qualifying phases from 13:50 p.m. to 15:25 p.m. It is not until 15:40 p.m. that the MotoGP will have their second free practice session, which will precede Q1 and Q2.

On Sunday morning, the warm-ups will last a little longer and the races will still be held according to the initial program.
