Quartararo still misses the first line: “It’s never enough”

This is the seventh time in a row that fabio quartararo will not start from the first line. The Frenchman has not appeared there since the Dutch GP at the end of June. 

At Phillip Island, Quartararo however limited the damage as he will start fifth behind Francesco Bagnaia and Aleix Espargaro. “I'm rather disappointed, because I give so much on a lap, and it's never enough,” nevertheless laments the Nice native. Unlike some of his counterparts, Quartararo did not want to follow a wheel to help him set his time. “The most important thing was to get the tires up to temperature,” he said. There is always someone waiting, you want to let them pass and they stay behind… So I preferred to pull and ride. »
