A very studious Labor Day for builders MotoGP who have had plenty of time to try new pieces, for those who have it. For the others, this day of driving was intended to prepare as best as possible for the rest of the Championship.

  • Honda was relatively active this morning. We were able to see development driver Stefan Bradl finally test the famous Kalex chassis, which has attracted so much attention in recent weeks. Joan Mir was also able to evaluate the latest aero updates that Stefan Bradl benefited from this weekend and even had the opportunity at the end of the day to briefly test on the chassis developed by Kalex,

  • At Aprilia, this day was more about improving sensations rather than testing new elements. Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales were seen on track with exactly the same machine as since the start of the season. “Top Gun” Viñales took advantage of this track time to work tirelessly on his starts, his big weak point since the start of the season.

  • At Prima Pramac, Johann Zarco tested a small air inlet at the bottom of the belly pan to facilitate cooling. Confidence is essential at Ducati since the reigning world champion and new leader of the championship, Francesco Bagnaia, was content to carry out a lot of adjustment work on long runs to the detriment of the pure time.
  • Brad Binder was able to benefit at KTM from the aero package used successfully by Dani Pedrosa throughout the weekend. A deeply modified fairing featuring a large side fin.
