  • The king of Sprint racing strikes again in Valencia. Jorge Martín had announced it, he was ready to take all possible risks this Saturday to recover as many units as possible from Francesco Bagnaia in the championship. Author of an excellent start, the Spaniard quickly placed himself alongside the Italian to get the better of the latter.
  • So in third position, No. 89 will wait until the seventh lap to take action. He managed to successively defeat Maverick Vinales and Brad Binder even before the eighth round, and then flew to victory.
  • For his part, number 1 did not take unnecessary risks, and reached the finish line in 5th position. Fourteen points separate the two title contenders before the Main Race this Sunday.
  • Brad Binder finished second in the Sprint, while Marc Marquez completed the podium. Starting from 9th place on the starting grid, the Spaniard offers a first farewell gift to Honda.
  • Johann Zarco did not find the rhythm necessary to maintain his initial position (3rd), and finished 9th in this event. Complicated end of Saturday for fabio quartararo also. The Niçois fell in the middle of the fourth loop of the event, and lost any chance to score points.
  • The pole sitter of the day, Maverick Vinales, finished in 4th place. Fabio di Giannantonio (6th), Marco Bezzecchi (7th), Alex Marquez (8th) and Augusto Fernandez (10th) complete the top 10.
  • See you this Sunday at 15:00 p.m., to follow the last event of this season of MotoGP, at the end of which we will know the name of the 2023 world champion.
