Le Mans welcomes from May 12 to 14 the 1000th GP in the history of MotoGP. Last year, beyond the popular success, the French Grand Prix was elected by the promoter Dorna and the FIM, best Grand Prix of the year, rewarding the efforts of Claude Michy and the PHA teams and the the ACO.
More than 110 fans were present in the stands for a record edition. So many spectators came to salute the exploits of the French drivers, in particular Johann Zarco, still looking for his first victory and fabio quartararo, first French world champion in the premier category.

The first four rounds of the 2023 season have already offered us exciting races and this Sarthoise stage is rich in promise. Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha) and Johann Zarco (Prima Pramac Ducati) will undoubtedly be the two stars of the weekend at Le Mans, but what about their chances of victory?
The Yamaha representative is having a gloomy start to the season with the only bright spot being the tough third place he won in Austin. Only 11th overall, the Niçois is however one of the three drivers on the grid to have scored points during all the Sunday races of the season, which testifies to a certain regularity.
For his part, Zarco had two exceptional first rounds but remains after a fall suffered in Jerez. Ninth in the ranking, the 32-year-old driver is still chasing a first success in the elite. Can our two tricolors get on the podium together at Le Mans as they did in 2021 alongside Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM)? Note that the Marseillaise has not sounded in France in the premier category since Pierre Monneret in… 1954!
