Zarco takes first day lead in Thailand

Excluded from the Top 10 at the end of FP1, the Frenchman finally set the best time of the day during the second free practice session in Buriram.

Zarco takes first day lead in Thailand

The pilots MotoGP will ultimately not have been disrupted by the rain this Friday at the Thai GP since the two free practice sessions took place in the dry. 

In the time trial in the afternoon, Johann Zarco was the fastest with a lap in 1'30.201. The Frenchman, although he was beyond the Top 10 in the morning, regained color in the afternoon to finish in the lead with an 18 thousandths lead over Francesco Bagnaia. Jorge Martin concluded Friday in third place, just under two tenths behind his teammate. 

Leader in FP1, Marc Marquez finally inherits the fourth time just ahead fabio quartararo. Jack Miller took the sixth fastest time ahead of Luca Marini, who took advantage of Quartararo's wheel for a long time, Miguel Oliveira, who made a mistake this morning, Alex Rins and Franco Morbidelli who closed the doors to the Top 10. 

Enea Bastianini fails in 11e position just over half a second behind Zarco. Cal Crutchlow, who fell twice, placed 12e ahead of Aleix Espargaro, in difficulty during this opening day. It's the same for Maverick Viñales, author of 15e time behind Marco Bezzecchi.
