Le Rally Le Touquet – Pas-de-Calais will host the first real round of the Trophy Alpine The A290 Rallye in its complete configuration. The rally entry list, to be released at the end of the week, will shed more light on the likely hierarchy of the first 100% electric competition to be held under French regulations, even though we already know that Melvin Rabilloud, winner of the 2025 "Prologue" edition, will be participating. Another driver to confirm her participation in this championship is ski instructor Emma Chalvin. Having competed in the Clio Trophy France last year, the former driver of Rallycross, who has since switched to rallying, is therefore embarking on a new challenge and will be based in Le Touquet aboard one of the Alpine A290 Rallye cars will be participating in this competition. For the occasion, an e-Rally du Touquet will therefore be held alongside the traditional competition.
Emma Chalvin returns to electric power
This won't be the first time Emma Chalvin has driven a 100% electric car. In 2024, she took on the role of ambassador for the French Federation of Motorsport's women's participation plan and, in that capacity, participated in the ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup alongside Alizée Pottier, a year after Sarah Rumeau and Cindy Gudet. Emma Chalvin actually won the women's title that season, following up with a strong performance last year, finishing second in the French Women's Rally Championship behind Sarah Rumeau. In addition to her performances in the competition so dear to... Alpine In the racing series, Emma Chalvin also won the Lucie Vauthier Trophy at the 2025 Vosges Grand Est Rally, a competition organized in tribute to Alain Vauthier's daughter, highlighting female participants in this rally each year. It should also be noted that Chalvin will be co-driven this season by Amandine Borderie.
